The Tags are a unique 2 piece acoustic band specialising in weddings, corporate events, ceremonies, house concerts, proposals, functions and parties and guarantee to add an atmosphere to any event to be remembered. Every gig is tailor made to suit your needs with a friendly yet professional service. They also offer a DJ service to accommodate all your entertainment needs. Included in the cost for all private functions is an interactive percussion session where your guests or clients have the chance to "jam with the band". With different sized top of the range equipment and such a varied repertoire they are able to accommodate any event depending on the atmosphere the client wishes to create from intimate dinners in a conservatory to a full blown party in a castle. They can also learn a special song for your event at no extra cost.
Professional full time musicians, very experienced with fantastic crowd interaction who have captivated audiences worldwide with their percussive foot stomping music and their unique performance routine. They have performed at over 1000 gigs in the UK, USA and New Zealand, Their act consists of Acoustic Guitar, Bass Pickup, Cajon (Acoustic Drum), Vocal Harmonies and Harmonica and a bagful of percussion instruments to encourage audience participation. No backing tracks are used, so its always live and always entertaining. With different sized top of the range equipment and such a varied repertoire they are able to accommodate any event depending on the atmosphere the client wishes to create from intimate dinners in a conservatory to a full blown party in a castle. They are also available to perform totally unplugged if required and can provide instrumental music with acoustic guitar for your ceremony, wedding proposal or dinner entertainment Becoming very popular, they have developed a Pop Up Acoustic session. If required they can easily swap locations in a venue during dinner, weding breakfasts, evening entertainment etc., using a battery powered amp as when and where you need them (no electricity is required for this setup). Guests are entertained in style and can be encouraged to join in with percussion instruments for those feeling musical. This is a great ice breaker and encourages your guests to interact. They are based in the North West of England and able to travel worldwide, with a huge repertoire of popular cover music. Please contact for a full set list as only a sample one is available here. Their standard set list usually consists of 2 x 45 min or 3 x 30 min sets, although they are very flexible with timings and can perform for shorter or longer periods as required. They also offer the interval music in between sets to be played through the PA.
They have public liability insurance and all equipment is PAT tested, UK Passports and no criminal record. They can also provide risk assessments, contracts and invoices on request.
